Israel’s Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely is featured here on 60 Minutes Australia.
Oftentimes, the media is severely anti-Israel, and so Israeli interviewees must be prepared.
As was expected, this interviewer asked a question about the security barrier.
Did he ask if it has been so effective at keeping terrorists out? No.
Did he ask if it has been effective at keeping Israelis safe? No.
Did he ask how Israelis cope, given that the palestinian authority encourages violence against Israelis? No.
Instead, he asked the Deputy Foreign Minister how she would feel if she was on the other side of the fence.
Her answer is absolutely amazing, and shows how little he knows about palestinian arab society.
Perhaps, if they stopped killing Jews, and stopped inciting violence, Israel would be able to remove the defensive barrier. But that can’t happen while the threat for violence is clear and present.
